HISTORY

Founded in 1948, by Leon (Leo) J. Grzych, in Schererville, Indiana upon returning from serving in Europe during World War II as an US Army medic.

Leo was a pioneer in the welding industry. Applauded for his innovations toward the development of the inert heliarc welding process. He held many patents and was involved in projects including a tactical paraballoon radar antennae and the Apollo lunar eagle unit.

Leo grew the small business started in his garage in the 1940s to a business serving steel mills and large corporations across the US and Canada.

Now in it's 3rd generation, Leon's continues maintaining the values and integrity Leo used to build his small vision into a business thriving for over 70 years.
